Cosette V. Canilao

President and CEO of Aboitiz InfraCapital, Inc.

Cosette is the President and CEO of Aboitiz InfraCapital, the infrastructure arm of the Aboitiz Group, a conglomerate based in the Philippines. As head of the organization, she sets the overall direction for the company and its various business units. She spearheads business growth and strategy by building strong partnerships, as well as driving the development of projects. She has over 20 years of leadership experience in public-private partnerships (PPP), investment and corporate banking, and crisis management and restructuring practice.

Cosette has led the Philippines’ PPP program from 2010 until February 2016 where she played a key role in creating an enabling environment for private participation in infrastructure development through policy enhancements, process improvements, capacity development, and project pipeline building.

She has extensively participated in developing and promoting PPP frameworks and shared knowledge with other countries such as Indonesia, Cambodia, PDR Lao, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Kenya, and Tanzania.

Cosette holds a Master's in Finance from the University of the Philippines Diliman and has attended executive education programmes at the Harvard Business School, Harvard Kennedy School of Government, and Saïd Business School.
