The report “Recommendations for Deployment of Smart Charging for Electric Vehicles in India” is a result of the study “Simulation-based study to evaluate the effects of E-mobility smart charging strategies.” It provides recommendations and the way forward for the adoption of smart charging for EVs in India. The recommendations are derived from a detailed simulation analysis of an Indian distribution system and international experiences. These recommendations can guide regulators, policymakers, electric power distribution companies (DISCOMs_, and other stakeholders in making informed decisions.
