Photo provided by Anuj Dhole

In this blog post, Anuj shares highlights from surveys of transit authorities in Pune, Mumbai, and Navi Mumbai that have more than 2 years of electric bus operational experience. While users reported some challenges with flexibility, electric buses are more reliable, easier to maintain, and better for revenue generation than ICE buses. Additionally, respondents were happy with their current understanding of electric bus technology and optimistic about its future.

This blog is the first in a three-part series about our conversations with authorities in Maharashtra. The second blog can be found here.
