A guidebook for planning, installing and managing electric vehicle charging in all types of residential areas in Delhi

By Amit Bhatt, Sahana L, and others

The Residential EV Charging Guidebook seeks to encourage all residential societies based out of Delhi—old neighbourhood areas, planned colonies, DDA flats, Cooperative Group Housing Societies, Government housing societies, employer housing, and others—to understand the importance of EV charging, support effective decision-making and set out the way forward for the planning and implementation of EV charging stations in the parking space of the societies. The document also aims to address some of the challenges, such as lack of space, capital investment, power load management, that residential societies might face while implementing EV charging.
