Dr. Ou Xunmin

Associate Professor at Tsinghua University  

Dr. Ou Xunmin is an Associate Professor for Management Science and Engineering at the Institute of Energy, Environment and Economy at the Tsinghua University, Beijing P.R. China. He serves as the Subject Editor (Energy and Transportation) of Energy Journal, and as Deputy Director of China Automotive Research Center of Tsinghua University. His main expertise is in the area of low-carbon technology assessment, transport sector energy strategy  and Life Cycle Analysis of energy pathways, including H2 in China.

Prof. Ou's major research publications include topics such as benefits and promotion policy of China's Electric Vehicles or climate neutral technology evaluation in China. In 2010 he received the China Youth Scientist New Talent Award in the field of climate change research. Recently, he has been selected as one of the lead authors of the 6th Climate Change Assessment Report of the IPCC. 

Dr.  Ou Xunmin holds a Bachelor's degree in Vehicle Engineering and a Master's and PhD in Management Science and Engineering (Energy system analysis).
