New Mentorship Program from Women on the Move Network

As women continue to be underrepresented in the transport industry, it is vital to foster those in the early stages of their career through supportive relationships. Women on the Move is thus launching an online, year-long mentorship programme to connect women with similar goals and areas of focus.

How does the program work?

The call for applications is open for all those hoping to either enhance or share their valuable experiences in the transport sector in Asia.

The call is open for all mentees, and for mentors with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the sector, until November 11, 2022.

Our online form allows for the selection of various focus areas and desired outcomes. After careful review of the submitted forms, mentors and mentees are matched according to specified interests and career paths, allowing active exchange on their desired focus area.

Fill out the form at the bottom of the webpage.

We encourage each pair to meet at least three times over a year and will organise “check-in” activities to enable best possible working relationship. After a year, mentors and mentees will be invited to give a joint presentation to reflect on how the mentorship has supported them in their goals. The topic will be flexible, but we suggest a personal development goal or an independent research project related to the subject of gender and transport, to allow for a focused collaboration. Of course, we encourage the partnership to continue even after this presentation!

Join the programme by filling in our form by 11th November 2022!
