Electric cars (EVs) are presently the focal point of fervent discourse as a sustainable and energy-efficient means of transportation. Unveiling advantages over conventional vehicles in terms of environmental impact and noise reduction, EVs are making waves. Yet, certain pivotal factors stand in the way of widespread customer acceptance and the seamless adoption of electric mobility. Factors like high initial costs and uncertainties related to battery range and reliability are still on the horizon.

A comprehensive survey has been executed among vehicle owners and public transport enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City. The survey is an insight brief to highlight consumer behaviour, unveiling the perspectives of vehicle owners and public transport enterprises concerning obstacles hindering the advancement of EVs in Ho Chi Minh City while also exploring potential driving forces within the market.
