BLOG: 4 Lessons on How to Transform to Zero-Emission Transport in India
On 4th March 2024, WRI India organized ‘Uddeshya: Towards Gender Responsive Urban Mobility Systems’ to deliberate on integrating gender perspectives to drive sustainable changes in transport.
Bringing together national and subnational policymakers and industry leaders, the session, 'Towards Low-Carbon Pathways for India's Mobility,' of CXO Conclave at the 3rd E-Mobility India Forum, was hosted by the NDC-Transport Initiative for Asia (NDC-TIA) as part of the Forum for Decarbonizing Transport on August 18, 2023.
WRI India organized an one-day conference, Uddheshya, on 22nd March 2023, with 80 gender experts, transport planners, researchers, practitioners, civil society representatives, and other stakeholders to discuss and deliberate on gender-inclusivity in transport and achieving equitable access to mobility and opportunities.
