Technical Meeting: Action Plan For City E-mobility Development In Ho Chi Minh City

In implementation of the cooperation program between the Department of Transport of Ho Chi Minh City and the Ministry of Transport to realize the project “NDC Transport Initiative for Asia” (NDC-TIA), using non-refundable ODA from the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany, the Department of Transport of Ho Chi Minh City in collaboration with the German Agency for Development Cooperation (GIZ) holds a technical meeting, namely “Action plan for city e-mobility development in Ho Chi Minh City” with the following objectives:

  • To commence the research “Action plan for city e-mobility development in Ho Chi Minh City”.

To collect comments from participants on current and future challenges for e-mobility development, international experience in formulating action plan and roadmap for e-mobility development.

Participants included:

  1. Presiding agency

    • Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport

  2. Collaboration agency

    • German Agency for Development Cooperation (GIZ)

  3. Other participants

  • Representatives of the Ministry of Transport

  • Relevant departments and agencies at the city level;

  • Public transport operators and taxi companies in Ho Chi Minh City;

  • Higher education institutions and research institutes;

  • Socio-professional organizations;
